After several years sailing the high seas just like her father, Alice Kingsleigh (Mia Wasikowska) arrives back in London, where she stumbles upon a mysterious looking glass, which sends her hurtling back into the fantastical realms of Wonderland.
Here, she must acquire a team of friends old and new, to embark on a mission to save the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), and Wonderland, too, from the clutches of the wicked Lord of Time (Sacha Baron Cohen).
In order to do this, she must retrieve a magical sceptre and hatch a plan to get the Queen of Hearts (Helena Bonham Carter) back to her rightful throne.
Director James Bobin (Muppets Most Wanted) continues Tim Burton’s dreamy vision of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale, Alice in Wonderland (2010).
Australian actress Mia Wasikowska (Crimson Peak) returns as Alice, whilst Johnny Depp (Black Mass), Helena Bonham Carter (Cinderella) and Anne Hathaway (Interstellar) are also back on board.
Alice Through the Looking Glass also features the voice talents of the late Alan Rickman (Eye in the Sky) as the Caterpillar and Stephen Fry (The Brits Are Coming) as the Cheshire Cat.
