Jack and the Beanstalk
by Alan P Frayn
Directed by & Musical Direction by Chris Wales
Choreography by Sue Crossland
The ever popular Apollo Players return to Whitby Pavilion Theatre this January with another fun-filled family pantomime.
All is not well in the village of Old Windy Bottom with the Giant taking up residency high in the clouds and casting shadows and misery upon the villagers.
Step forward Jack, a bright and plucky young man who lives on the dairy farm with his mum Dame Dolly Dimple and brother Simple Simon. He sets out to outwit the Giant and win the hand of Princess Primose.....but not before some business with some very magic beans!
Packed full of side-splitting comedy, bags of audience participation, colourful characters, songs and lots of surprises this new version of an old favourite is sure to be a huge hit with old and young! Dazzling costumes and sparkling sets are topped off with the usual Apollo Players magic.....a fantastic way to start 2017!
