And the squad receive just that they are brought home for a break and a well-earned victory tour. America is getting ready to welcome their troops back with open arms. But the population of America is wearing rose-tinted glasses. The heroic images of war inside their heads don’t match the realities of life on the front line.Culminating in a signature spectacular halftime show, Lynn and his brothers in arms recount the very real, and very tragic stories of what life in a warzone is truly like, surprising their homecoming crowds with a huge reality shock.

Newcomer Joe Alwyn takes the lead role of Billy Lynn, and is supported on screen by a wealth of acting talent in the form of Kristen Stewart (Café Society), Vin Diesel (Furious 7), and Chris Tucker (Rush Hour 3).

The familiar face of Ang Lee directs Billy Lynn’s Halftime Walk, who is best known for this work on past classics such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Life of Pi.
