Creedence Clearwater Revival were the pre-eminent singles band of the late ‘60s, with 24 UK chart hits combining a southern boogie feel with John Fogerty’s unerring knack for a great tune.
Yorkshire is thousands of miles from California and the swamps of the Mississippi, but the music of Creedence Clearwater Revival and John Fogerty is being faithfully reproduced here by a group of musicians with the talent to really do justice to their magnificent songbook.
All the favourites are here: Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary, Travellin’ Band, Up Around the Bend, Green River, Fortunate Son, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, Rockin’ All Over the World, and lots more.
The members of The Creedence Collection play electric and acoustic guitars, steel guitar, mandolin, keyboards, fiddle and accordion, supported by a skillful backline of drums and bass.
Blako, Kev, Dave, Martin and Anita have a colourful history on the local music scene and beyond the Yorkshire boundary, working with an impressive list of famous musicians. Don’t miss an evening filled with great songs and good rockin’.
