Whitby Blues Festival returns to the beautiful setting of Whitby Pavilion this October for another full day of the best blues, rhythm and rock music.
With Bernie Marsden and Dr Feelgood Co-Headlining, six very different striking bands, a mix of legendary names and emerging artists.........this is a festival that will appeal to music lovers of all ages and tastes
. Bernie Marsden - original guitarist for hard rock outfit UFO, then an original member of Paice, Ashton & Lord before joining Whitesnake!
· Dr Feelgood - formed on Canvey Island in Essex in the early 1970s, Dr Feelgood remains a highly popular and exciting live rhythm and blues act!
· Danny Bryant - often referred to as a “National Blues Treasure”, this is a title that Danny has worked tirelessly and passionately to earn!
· Red Butler - four young people that have amalgamated into a dynamic band and are able to generate power and sensitivity in their take on blues-rock!
· The Rainbreakers - passionate to deliver authenticity, the band have sustained an honest and ever growing following through a relentless desire to perform!
. The Blues Issue - a South coast 5 piece band with an explosive combination of twin guitars, hollerin’ harp and a supercharged rhythm section!
No need to worry about searching for food and drinks on the day either, there will be a range of alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, real ales available and a varied menu that should meet everyone's taste!
