An experienced and successful Washington DC lobbyist faces her greatest challenge when she takes on the gun lobby in this Golden Globe nominated film.
Professional lobbyist Elizabeth Sloane (Jessica Chastain) is hired by various groups to help win their arguments by any means necessary. She has a reputation for winning, and feels confident in her ability to outwit any opponent on any topic.
Those fighting for gun control laws hire Sloane to use her talents in one of the most challenging cases to hit modern American history. She’ll need to use all of her experience to take on this crowd, but she’s excited by the challenge.
Excited, that is, until she becomes a target of the opposition. Not only her professional life is under threat, but her personal one, and her experience might not be able to help her.
Starring Jessica Chastain (The Martian), alongside Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Concussion) and John Lithgow (The Accountant), and directed by John Madden (Killshot), Miss Sloane is a beautifully shot political thriller that’ll have you hooked from start to finish.
