The ever-popular Apollo Players return to Whitby Pavilion this January with the enchanting tale of Sleeping Beauty....complete with colourful costumes, dazzling sets and amazing special effects.
It is the christening of Princess Rose and all the kingdom has gathered to celebrate...but the joyful occasion is gate-crashed by the Bad Witch Hazel who puts a curse upon the Princess to ensure she will die upon reaching her 16th birthday...the scene is set for a fantastic 116 year romp! Can Good Fairy Lilac change the curse? Will Price Alexander fight through the foliage to claim his bride? With a host of lovable characters on hand, jokes, songs, plenty of audience participation alongside the usual Apollo Players magic, this is traditional family pantomime at it's very best!
