Festival on the Moor presents the first of it's new acoustic music nights at Sleights Village Hall.
World renowned singer / songwriter, Richard Grainger In Concert. With many albums to his credit, Richard tours worldwide and is well known for his songs of Whitby, North Yorkshire as well as Maritime themed Songs, which have been covered by many folk and acoustic artists.
His musical plays include Eye of the Wind (the tale of the explorer James Cook); The Journey Home - a rewrite of Homer's Odyssey and The Moorland Whalers - the story of the Yorkshire Whaling Industry.
His recent album, Hard Road To Prospect Hill was included in FRUK's 'Best Folk Albums of 2015'
Richard is a superb guitarist, singer, songsmith and entertainer with a relaxed and engaging style.
