Featuring songs and tunes written by Richard Grainger and other songwriters including Ron Angel, as well as traditional material, it is performed by an excellent cast of actors and musicians including Whitby Music Centre.
The play was made into a CD by the BBC and has been hailed as a 'gem of a recording'. It is the full 55 min radio version, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, with songs, poems music and poetry.
