In Whitby, the roof of the former Tourist Information Office hosts a debate about how a town can use its past, without losing its sense of itself.
THE MYSTERIES is a cycle of six warm, witty new plays which cross England, from a sheep farm in Eskdale via a tourist information centre in Whitby to Manchester.
Each of the six parts of THE MYSTERIES will be made and premiered in the place it was written. The performance of Part 3, the play inspired by Chris Thorpe's time in Whitby will be presented as a double bill with a reading of Part 6: Manchester.
THE MYSTERIES will be performed at The Whitby Mission & Seafarers Centre, Haggergate House, Haggersgate, Whitby, Y021 3PP on Friday 28 & Saturday 29 September.
