Glaisdale Open Gardens - Sat June 22nd and Sun 23rd 2019
Glaisdale Open Gardens will be held on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June 2019. The event is held in alternate years to raise money for the Yorkshire and Great Northern Air Ambulances, local charities and good causes. In 2017, £3,000 was raised.
Approx 12 gardens will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
Combined entry to all gardens is £5 per adult (under 16s free). Tickets valid over the weekend are available at Glaisdale Village shop from June 8th and will be on sale at The Robinson Institute and some opening gardens during the event. Refreshments will be available at the Robinson Institute and some gardens.
Gardens are within or near the village area and can be visited on an approximately three mile walk offering great views of the Esk Valley. Alternatively, most gardens can be visited by road.
Glaisdale can be reached easily from the A171 Middlesbrough to Whitby road or by train on the scenic Esk Valley Railway (part of the national network). Why not make this weekend a day (or two) out in the heart of the North York Moors!
